Franklin's trip to Vespucci Beach doesn't look like a big turning point at first. It's just Lester, sitting there with his usual quiet confidence, offering work that sounds dirty but pays well. Players who've spent time building cash, cars, weapons, or even looking into GTA V Accounts will know this mission matters because it opens the door to serious stock market money. The target is Brett Lowrey, the CEO of Bilkinton Research, and Lester wants him gone before he leaves the Von Crastenburg Hotel.
How the hit plays outThe setup is simple, which is probably why the mission sticks in people's heads. Franklin drives over to the hotel area and takes position in the multi-storey car park across the street. From there, he watches the entrance and waits for Lowrey to appear. You're not asked to chase him across half the city or fight through waves of guards. You just need to time it right. Most players use a sniper rifle because it's clean, fast, and it ticks off one of the gold medal requirements. A sticky bomb on the target's car also works, though it feels a bit messier and can draw more attention if you're careless.
Gold medal targetsFor 100 percent completion, the game tracks three things here. The first is time, so don't wander around or overthink the route. The second is Sniper Boy, which means killing Lowrey with a sniper rifle. The third is money earned from the job, and that's where a lot of players get caught out. You don't have to complete every objective in one run, so it's fine to replay the mission later if your timing was off. Still, if you're already prepared, it's easy enough to get a clean shot and leave the area before the police become a problem.
Stock market playThis mission is mandatory, unlike Lester's later assassination jobs, so you can't simply save it until the end of the main story. That makes the investment side a little different. Before starting, put the available money from Michael, Franklin, and Trevor into Betta Pharmaceuticals on BAWSAQ. After the hit, wait a few in-game days and sell when the return peaks. Older versions can reach around 80 percent, while some newer versions give a lower return, often closer to 21 percent. After that, many players buy Bilkinton on the LCN exchange while it's down, then wait for it to recover. Sleeping or entering the save screen helps move time along without much fuss.
Why this mission mattersThe Hotel Assassination isn't only about removing one corrupt executive. It also changes Franklin's situation in a pretty satisfying way. After the job, Lester tells him he needs someone to live in a Vinewood Hills house for tax reasons, and Franklin gets the upgrade he's been waiting for. No more dealing with his aunt's place. If you're planning a fresh run, testing different choices, or comparing progress with buy cheap GTA V Accounts options, this is one of those missions where preparation pays off in both story progress and cash.
